Fatuous Fools' Follies

Scott Bessent speaks in terms of blows
   for those who won’t comply
With all his taunts (the tongue he knows)
Which melt, he thinks, the winter snows,
From which Truth ebbs but never flows,
As if he owns the sky.

Pete Hegseth, too, believes that threats
  Alone will win the day
Despite his lack of all regrets
For missing stocks of ships and jets,
As small as little ever gets,
The failed will find a way.

So, Tweedledum and Tweedledee
  Their “battle” they have had.
When they spoiled Trump’s new Rattle he
Absolved himself and them with glee
Because the trio could agree
That none of them were “bad.”
